چکیده
An analytical (exact in the limit) solution to boundary-value problem of deformation a finite-dimensional general cross-ply thick hyperbolic-paraboloidal panel, modeled using third order shear theory, is presented. Of special interest issue cylindrical panel-like response, presence full surface-parallel constraints at all four edges antisymmetric panel negative Gaussian curvature.

Free vibration Study of simply supported cylindrical laminateds panels with piezoelectric layer
In the present study, vibration of cylindrical laminates with different layers and angles were studied. In order to actuate and polarize in radial direction, a piezoelectric layer was located at outer surface of composite shell. Laminates were assumed long enough so that plane strain state analysis in 2D can be used properly. In order to satisfy the boundary conditions, variables in terms of Fo...

متن کاملA Simply Connected Surface of General Type
In this paper we construct a simply connected, minimal, complex surface of general type with pg = 0 and K 2 = 2 using a Q-Gorenstein smoothing theory and a rational blow-down surgery.
متن کاملActive control of simply supported cylindrical shells using the weighted sum of spatial gradients control metric.
It is often desired to reduce sound radiated from cylindrical shells. Active structural acoustic control (ASAC) provides a means of controlling the structural vibration in a manner to efficiently reduce the radiated sound. Previous work has often required a large number of error sensors to reduce the radiated sound power, and the control performance has been sensitive to the location of error s...
